The Creek of My Dreams
Eniebi Foundation, in partnership with NABLOGS, endorses and sponsors the Burutu Future Leaders Essay Competition (BUFLEC) 2026.
Every child has a picture of the future in their mind. Sometimes, all they need is a platform to put that picture into words.
That is what the Burutu Future Leaders Essay Competition (BUFLEC) 2026 is about.
In partnership with NABLOGS, the Eniebi Foundation is proud to endorse and sponsor this initiative — creating an opportunity for students across Burutu Local Government Area to think deeply about their communities, express themselves, and dream boldly about the future they want to see.
The theme, “The Creek of My Dreams,” invites our children to look at the Creek through their own eyes.
- What do they see?
- What would they change?
- What kind of schools, communities, opportunities and future do they imagine?
Most importantly, what does a better Creek look like when it is imagined by the children who will one day inherit it?
We believe education is more than sitting in a classroom. It is giving young people the confidence to think, question, write, imagine and participate in shaping their future.
And sometimes, a simple essay can be the beginning of a much bigger dream.
The competition will culminate in the grand finale on 30th October 2026 in Burutu Community, with exciting prizes for outstanding students.
